Do you need new access roads in fields, forests or a cow track? Do you have a quarry, waste stone or rubble? RTW Road Restoration has the perfect solution for you.
We can utilise waste stone, brick, builders rubble, quarry stone and other related materials which can easily be crushed onsite using our specialist machinery to create a new stable road, yard,
parking area or hard standing.
The area is marked out and then dug down to enable large stone and rubble to be inserted and used as a sub-base for the new road. The top 100mm - 150mm of stone is then crushed and graded with 'V' or single cambers and compacted using vibration plates or a heavy vibration roller to create a smooth running surface. Binding agents can also be added for a stronger, longer lasting finish. Waste stone and rubble can also be added to existing roads and crushed to build them up where needed to create a longer lasting and more stable road.
Below are just a few images showing the process we go through when digging out a new road.
The process of quarrying stone is perfect for utilising waste material which reduces haulage costs and minimises environmental impact. The process results in an economical, low maintenance and stronger more stable road.
The below gallery shows the process of incorporating imported waste stone into a new road to build it up.
