Road Stabilisation Using CementUsing our specialist equipment we are also able to incorporate binding agents into the in-situ or imported material, i.e. cement. This process works well in sensitive areas as the road stone remains a similar colour to stay in keeping with the surrounding area, but provides a hardwearing bound surface. This is a very cost effective, process also keeping the carbon footprint to a minimum and recycling your road stone. Each road or area is assessed before hand to determine the correct cement/stone mix in line with the traffic density and axel weights. Most work is done without the need of extra stone being added, but some stone is added to lift the road from the surrounding areas and assist with drainage. Where required for a stone chipping finish we can also offer a tar and chipping service in different colours to suit the client and surrounding area. The process is as follows: Please see our gallery for photos of roads before and after this process has been completed. |
