Recycling Road StoneWe provide a service that recycles your existing road stone by first digging down between 100mm - 250mm to initially loosen the existing surface material, so that it can be graded with a camber to divert the water to the sides of the road and stop pot-holes forming. After the grading is complete the surface is compacted to create a smooth running surface. 
The crusher works to the bottom of the pot holes, leaving a type one road stone (50mm down to dust). This leaves plenty of fines to bond the larger stones that carry the wight together.
 The road is then graded sevel times to create the correct camber, this is done with a three way moveable blade so the operator can create a single camber to one side or a ‘V’ camber depending on the lay of the surrounding ground.  Then the road is compacted using vibration plates or vibrating roller. As a final finish we spray water on the road with a water tanker which helps start the bonding process.  Heavy Roller
